Tell Them I’m Real – Arnold V Page

This is a delightful account of how God walks side by side with us through the ups and downs, through the every-day and the exceptional times during our lifetime.

With a life that takes Arnold and his family from the hills of northern England to the snow-capped mountains of southern Chile, by way of a series of divine visions which called him and his family. In obedience they uprooted their lives and headed to South America on missional work.

Arnold recollects some lovely anecdotes, each showing something of God’s love, provision, His perfect timing or His desire to keep him on track, all of them helping to build his our relationship with his God. His plans are perfect and when we look back, with the gift of hindsight, we can see His guiding hands. But more than this though, the stories show how God intervenes supernaturally, with healing, provision and salvation, wanting to break in to our lives when given the chance.

Written with honesty, openness and humility, we are led through a life of adventure because God is at the centre of it. That doesn’t necessarily make it easy or trouble free, but never dull. This journey, of course, also involves doubt. Through the narrative we learn that what is clearly a strength is Arnold’s firm faith, a backbone to his life. Yes, at times, like all of us, that faith is challenged by circumstances, but to his credit he holds to it with determination and resilience.

In this book you will find evidence of the way that God guides our lives, as long as we are willing to give Him the space, to listen hard and step out in faith.
